World Bank and its partners have an international essay contest "Youth Unemployment". The competition invites young people aged 18-25 years from all over the world. Students who enrolled in doctoral programs (PhD), have no right to participate.
Competition is conducted in two categories: essays and video. Topics: 1. How youth unemployment affects the individual, country, city and local community? 2. What can be done in collaboration with peers, to find a sustainable solution for job seekers, with the help of youth entrepreneurship. Barriers faced by youth in the labor market, and how to deal with difficulties in accessing capital to start biznesu. Essays and videos (in English, French and Spanish) must be hended in individually. A person may submit only one work in each of category. Essay-authors of the best essays (finalists) will be able to attend the meeting of the Final Jury in Stockholm (Sweden) in May, as well as visit the Annual Bank Conference on Development Economics. The World Bank will cover travel and accommodation Money prizes: first place - $ 3000, second place, $ 2000, third place - $ 1 000. 2.
