29 June in Gomel will be a seminar "Creating and registering non-profit organizations." The seminar will address the main legal forms of nonprofit organizations and their different legal status under the current Belarusian legislation. Participants will be provided with information regarding procedures and practices of registration of public associations, institutions and foundations, as well as give examples of documents. All participants will receive a copy of the book "Creating non-profit organizations in Belarus: Legal Aspects".
Trainers at the seminar will be experienced lawyers in the field of Belarusian non-profit law: Olga Smalyanka, Center for Legal Transformation, and Yuri Chavusau, the Assembly of NGOs. During the event, coaches will be ready to give advice on any legal issues related to registration of non-commercial organizations.
